Av's build
well im just marking my first time posting things about my car. i own a 91 miata 1.6. i have plans to put the 1.8 motor and buy a small turbo setup and build my motor to suit a turbo.
i picked up a 1.8 out of 94 and i figured that this would mark the first day of my build.
i daily drive my na so the motor is in my garage and from there i will do a complete tear down, hone, new pistons, new oil pump, timing chain. id love to change my water pump too.
im going for a small turbo possibly a china charger and mspnp. i gathered up some info and im looking into plenty more.
id love input and possibly a route to other members who have preformed the same. i have a hard time with the search >_<
heres the motor. been in my bed for 2 hours lol cuz it got dark fast
and heres my car with my bike!

Clean looking miata! Good to see another rider as well. So basically you have a 1.6 your upgrading to 1.8 that you want to turbo, hard to comment but looks your on the right track. I wouldn't suggest a timing chain since miatas use a timing belt other than a slight wording mistake looks youve done some research and your on the right path. Check out the build threads if you arn't searching for something specific at https://www.miataturbo.net/build-threads-57/ and that will help you at alot. Theres an *** load of info there, good luck and welcome to the forums. If your starting a build I'd suggest posting a build thread there with your car specifics, intended use, power goals etc...
