How to wire MS3X with Automatic Throttle Body VTPS?

Looking through Brain's instructions it seems they are a little out of date or something. I'm trying to wire the 90-93 VTPS up to a brain-built MS3X. I saw this thread but his wiring never worked and didn't have closure on it. Whats the right wiring? https://www.miataturbo.net/engine-pe...le-body-65547/

Also, I don't have the 4 pin connector and pigtail on my TB. I can make one no problem, but all the threads I have seen talk about the color of the wiring instead of "pin 1/pin 2/pin 3/pin 4" sort of thing.

Thanks!

i just went and downloaded the 92 service manual.

inside, I found page 1104 which shows the wiring diagram for the TPS, both manual and auto as well as a diagram of their pinouts.

My document which tells you: B/LG is ground, R is 5v, and LG/W is TPS

So applying that knowledge, we can assume that we should wire the automatic TPS like this:

pin 1 - 5v
pin 2 - TPS
pin 3 - unused
pin 4 - Ground

IIRC pin 4 is the bottom pin.

Now THATS what I needed. Thank you, sir, you're a life saver once again!

Just to follow up, I did this install today and it COMPLETELY solved all my idle issues (hunting, oscillation, etc when warm but not when cold). This is a 1.6 running MS3X and "expanded" Greddy turbo.

tuning will fix the rest.
