I give up brgracer; AFPR w/ ABS

I bought my BEGi AFPR from brgracer (Tom, right) a while ago. Well, an embarassingly long time ago for me to be just now installing stuff, but regardless. I know he had ABS, and he was kind enough to send me the bracket he used. Question is, where in the world did he mount it? Searching, I found one picture that showed it kind of on top of the shock mount, but I couldn't work out how the bracket attached.

So, Tom, if you're reading this, you don't happen to have an old picture showing where you mounted this bad boy? I'd love to reuse the bracket. Thanks much; I appreciate it!

Mine's attached to the same mount that holds the charcoal cannister, I believe.

You have made the assumption that it was mounted at all. Seriously, I never mounted it down b/c I couldn't find a good spot. Normally people mount it to the firewall, but that huge ass abs unit gets in the way. I had it wedged into the area around the shock mount in a way that it never moved for over 2 years so I never got around to mounting it properly. :gay: I know...so ghetto....

Some times, "pressure fit" is the only solution.

;)

Haha, very nice. Thanks for replying!

I've figured a way to mount it to the charcoal canister bracket a la Brian's suggestion. Actually, it works pretty well.

I do not have ABS....but my vortech AFPR is ziptied to my fuse box :bigtu:

It's just a diaphragm anyways......not that big of a deal.
