A little late on this, but yes, do this. It is easy to do when the motor is out. I used a freeze plug to seal the front of the motor and thus permanently removed the front neck. Some put a plate over the freeze plug as insurance.

That re-route is absolutely awesome. I'll be leaving the mixing manifold-to-heater lines in place the way they are originally though, since he mentioned later that routing them his way made the car TOO cool lol.

Yeah...I seriously want to strangle that guy...but atleast he's not a secretive ------ like hyper.

He did make the how-to videos which are nice for a subject nearly everyone seems to be confused on when first looking into it. And he did divulge his parts list...which is a big bonus in my book.

I think it's very similar to others that have been done...and also hate that this guy acts like he invented the reroute...but it's all there in 20 annoying minutes as opposed to reading countless threads for hours on end and still not being sure what you want to do.

No, I use a combination of Adobe Premiere and Pinnacle Studio (both very old versions.)

Premiere is the bomb for frame-accurate editing and complex audio mixing, but I have a better transitions & titles library for Studio. So I typically render the titles and DVE in Studio first, then export to Premiere for final assembly. It's a very old-school workflow, basically the way we did **** when everything was on tape and you had to go into one room do do your graphics, another to create your transitions, and then a third to create your EDL and do the final cut. (and to give you an idea of the timescale here, the last EDL controller I used was a PDP-11 driving a GVG-200).

It's been over a decade since I've done any professional video work, so I haven't really kept up with the latest stuff. And ironically, since I'm accustomed to using the older pro-grade software (where there are different packages for each different function), I've never really explored the newer consumer stuff, even though I'm sure it has more cool bells-n-whistles like the title generator you speak of.

Well I finally had time to pull the engine completely. Tomorrow morning me and my dad are picking up a good one from a junk yard.

I pull it out, check the vin THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL ENGINE
Looks like the guy that drove it before had it replaced already. Always a good sign

Thanx guys. Not a full on build, but a VERY mild version lol
Mtuned rods
Billet oil pump gears
9.0:1 pistons
chrom moly premium rings
re-route
All new gaskets/seals

Hopefully that will provide me with RELIABLE 230-250whp.

You could easily be around 270-300whp(reliably) with those internals. Or just keep it at what you want because it's your car and not mine
