hey guys was wondering if anyone has a turbo and intercooler for cheap for my 1991 miata 1.6L?? i want to buy one for the sound of a turbo and to add some power. And will i need to change my oil more often? and what would be some cons on getting a turbo??

#1. Wrong section.

#2. You can probably find a cheap sr20 turbo on a nissan forum used.

#3. Check ebay for an intercooler that meets your requirements.

Oil? No, but I hear you have to change the coolant every 3k

If you want turbo sounds download them from the internet and play them on your stereo. It will be MUCH cheaper than an actual turbo.

Then go read the noob intro section and stickies and start reading a lot. To do it cheap, you need to know what you are doing or you will break things. To do it with no knoledge of how it all works, you need to spend money kn an FM kit that just bolts in and works.

The truely knoledgeable people on this forum are sick of spoon feeding and are vicious to people who don't research on their own. You have been warned.

Turbo's don't add power. They just produce heat and noise.

No, but if you ever get hungry, you can cook eggs on the side of the road.
