Here's a housing I took off of a cheap beat up GT2560.

It has a "tongue" for divorcing the wastegate gases. Perfect for my custom tongueless divorced pipe downpipe. I've never seen one with a tongue before. How common is this? The turbo it came on had the fundky bolt-on (i.e. not hose end) attachments for the compressor inlet and outlet...

off a Skyline GTR, the one with the ceramic turbine... IIRC.

Hurm... then it should be a t3 housing? I have a rb20det in the garage.. shame I'm too lazy to unbolt the turbo and check that :p

edit: I mean t3 flange?

Hmm, the turbine wheel appears to be ceramic all right. Does this have any advantage over a regular GT2560?

Yah... it has a tendency to explode at ~14psi give or take....

Kindof like built-in overboost protection :)

What power level is that? Shaft RPM is more a function of power than boost...

I'm just going off the ~ death zone on the car the turbo came off of. The ceramic turbine blades had a short life starting at about the 14psi area.

Actual power level... unsure. I wouldn't push it. I have one on the 240 project of mine, I have a replacement turbo already... I don't trust the ceramic.

You must have extremely high testosterone levels to pick some shit off like that.
