Intank Vs Inline Pump

What are the pros and cons of each. Which would you suggest for a BEGi AFPR, and T25 turbo wanting to make 200WHP

Either will get the job done.

Intank is easier to install and if you use the Walbro 190HP it is almost as quiet as OEM. The inline pump I had perviously was a loud bastard and a pain in the ass to install. Using the inline pump also adds more complexity so more points of failure. I had an issue with my OEM pump not flowing enough and even with the booster pump it was choking during long boosted pulls.

Having said that you'll likely not have any issues either way.

External pumps are obviously louder, and tend to run very hot and can burn out fairly quickly unless its a high quality unit (the fuel itself helps cool the pump).

the walbro is cheap at $93 shipped, a 15-30min install, and runs virtually noise free.

inlines (like the pierburg) are more expensive (or as cheap), a 45min-2hour install, and is loud.

What they said!

In tank just about the easiest DIY project you'll ever do. Virtually no downside.

No brainer. Walbro 190hp. I can't hear mine. Easy install, you just have to cut a little off of the assembly. Just take a look at the install faq here. I think samnavy wrote it.
