NEED HELP MS,GREDDY KIT,METH WONT RUN
Hi guys im new here. I cannont get my 1992 miata to run. I purchased it not running and i just wanted to share a few pics.... I also wanted to say it has perfect compression and leak down results across the board. When i bought the car the harness was beyond a nightmare.... Since then i have removed every harness on the car, Completely installed a uncut un hacked harness.... Now heres some pics below..... of all the stuff the previous owner did and im still clueless about...

NOTE: all pictures above are the day i got the car before i swapped harnesses etc.... Im just looking for any informtion regaurding what i actually have here.... FROM the research i have done... I know it has COPS, I know the black box contains resistors in it for the COPS. I also know it has a 36-1 Crank trigger wheel, It has a CAS DELETE, It has AIT SENSOR IN FMIC, It has DEVILS OWN STAGE 2 DCV meth kit. THE TPS LOOKS REALLY WEIRD AS WELL

Honest advice?
I wouldn't even know where to start on this one. The best thing would be to make it as stock as possible as follows:
1. Restore OEM harness (you already did that, right?)
2. Restore OEM ECU
3. Restore OEM AFM
4. Restore OEM Fuel Injectors
5. Restore OEM CAS
6. Restore OEM Coil Pack with Igniter
With the above, it should at least start and idle. If it does, then you can start remodding the car in a logical order. My order would be:
1. Switch to MS. Get it running.
2. Delete AFM. Get it running.
3. Upgrade injectors. Get it running.
4. Upgrade to COPs. Get it running.
5. Upgrade to Crank Trigger Wheel. Get it running.
etc.
Bottom line, start from a known-known and add the new bits one step at a time.

I have connected it to a laptop. it came with laptop and 3 tunes. The tune for no meth, and 10 lbs of boost was on it..... Its set up properly i went through and made sure all the settings were right..... I Cracked open the MS to look and make sure she wasnt fried.... she wasnt so thats good. Then I replaced all the wiring from front to back. I replaced everything wiring wise in my 1992 mx-5 with 1990 mx-5 harness and now i have extra plugs with nothing to plug into them...... I was told the harness was a 1992 harness but was lied to. So now i have all new 1990 harness for mx-5 1.6 MT etc..... any idea if this can still work guys?

I purchased it off a local. I have seen the car running and driving before. He sent a video of it when it was acting up.... It wouldnt rev past 3k rpms with led me to belive some sort of map/maf sensor problem.... But the next day when he tried to start it after he stopped driving it due to the 3k rpm problem it wouldnt start again. So i bought it for 4,000.00

The local you bought it from . . . did he build it? Or does he know who did?
The only way to shortcut this is to get the person who knows the car to help you . . . and you will be remoding the OEM harness to add back all the custom features.
Either that, or you need to get back to stock and remod incrementally.
No matter what you do, make sure you do a quality job when remoding and create a wiring diagram for yourself and the next guy describing everything that's been done. Even if you keep the car, you'll appreciate having that wiring diagram in a couple of years when you need to fix something.
BTW, it looks like it was built by someone who knew what they were doing. If you can just find that someone . . . .
