junk yard injectors

Ok, so i searched my local junk yard for rx7 injectors. all of the 89-91 rx7 where missing the injectors or the whole engine. There where plenty of earlier rx7s with injectors. so i looked them over and found that 87 and earlier had low impedance 460s part# 195500-1350.

The interesting thing that i found is that the 88 rx7 had 460s of the same part number but where high impedance.

Is there any reason why i wouldn't be able to use these 88 rx7 460 13ohm injectors P/N 195500-1350?

if you got a a standalone ecu you can program to use low imp injectors

^ 13ohm is high impedance. I don't see why they wouldn't work.

If you have an aftermarket ECU capable of handling such a large injector (EMU, Megasquirt, Adaptronic, etc) then yes.

If you are using the stock ECU, then no.
