Default Where to find this block off plate?

I need a block off plate for the coolant hole in the front of the head. Does anyone know where I can find one?

I just cut one out of strip aluminum from home depot. Or you can get a freeze plug that fits... i forget the measurement though and couldn't find one at my local shops/stores.

just buy it from begi. I made my own and it wasn't worth the time. I tapped a hole in the one that I made so I retain the water lines.

I was thinking about making one if i couldn't find one.
Are you sure begi sells this? I looked on their website and only found the block off plate for the thermostat housing and not the head.

i've got the m-tuned cover that goes over the stock water neck. Retaining the "out" for the little coolant lines is a positive, but the best part is the fact that I can simply remove an allen plug to burp the cooling system when filling it up instead of trying to do some complex **** that doesnt work.

I don't want to leave the water neck sticking out of the head because there is no reason for it and doesn't look good. I remember I saw the block off plates f/s somewhere, they even had the little groove for the O-ring that is there.
If i can't find one I will try making one because it is not a permanent solution like the freeze plug.
Thanks for the info.

Wink

Yes, I know that freeze plugs can be removed just not as easy as a block off plate. I was going to use a freeze plug if I didn't find a block off, but it looks like Reverend Greg has my solution

That freeze plug does look good there! Like I said, I would use the freeze plug if I couldn't find the block off plate. I was just thinking that if I put in the plug and if for some reason I would have to take it out I would have to go out and find/buy another one instead of just tightening the two bolts.
