Kroil deal

Hi guys. I know a lot of people have to deal with rusty hardware, got this deal on kroil sent to me. Thought I'd pass it along for those that are interested. Took about a week for them to show up. Used my company name but my home address. I haven't used it yet, but heard that this stuff works well and is normally very expensive. Just looked it up on eastwood. Compared to them, this is a steal....assuming it works well.

My grandfather swore by this stuff (called it skunk piss), and I inherited all of his remaining cans. I think I only have 2-3 left. I'll definitely grab some, thanks!

ordered some to give it a shot. The three OEM downpipe to header nuts always gave me hell. PB plaster never worked there. Hopefully this would do the trick next time I get a seized bolt.

Kroil is the only stuff I use on corroded bolts. Once you buy a can they send you deals.

You can also get it on Amazon; https://smile.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb...keywords=Kroil

Kroil + a little heat also works.

Kroil works well. I could not loosen the crankset on my newest bicycle even with breaker bar. Sprayed Kroil on there, came back after a week vacation and removed crankset using standard wrench.
It smells good too.

Kroil is the single best product for loosening bolts and the like.

It has very high surface tension, so it really spreads itself out. I have never broke a bolt that I sprayed aero kroil on. It's seriously magic.

Also works to prevent rust and lubricate hinges.

It is worth many thousands of dollars if you are a mechanic. Saves so so so much time.

Do you mean low surface tension, so it wets out easier?

While Kroil is good stuff, nothing beats plain old acetone and ATF. Mix it 50/50 (must be shaken, as it separates) and keep it in a well sealed container or the acetone evaporates out.

Kroil smells better than any other penetrating oil, but try the homebrew stuff. It actually works.

That's what my neighbor told me. Not sure why he waited until I told him I bought this kroil deal to tell me about it though.....Audi owners, pthhh. I'll have to try it once I run out of the kroil.

That requires me to do work. I rather just one click on Amazon, then open the box in 2 days.

Kroil is all we use in the hangar. Wish I could buy it as an individual over here though. My company just imports it to use in the hangar
