Default Needing some info on my project...

2004 MK2 1.6 110hp Miata

Okay... I found sitting around a TD04 turbo from a 11.000km subaru... I allso happen to have a Megasquirt 1gen... I know the 1st gen is not ideal but hey... Better than nothing...

Then things start to get difficult...

I can make manifold from stainless but where can I get a flange that goes or bolts on cylinder block? (I DON NOT WANT TO BUY EBAY MANIFOLD... LEARNED HARD WAY IN PAST)...

Wiring diagram for ECU? And which signals does MS really need? I know i have to find TPS (throttle position sensor), intake temperature, mount extra wideband (feed it directly to MS), crank position sensor, intake pressure (run hose to MS to its onboard sensor)...

Then I have to wire to it the injectors, coil packs and is that it? I know MS gives ground and 12v to sensors... And i know i will have to wire it to have a wasted spark due to MS beeing to old...

I would have external boost control that i can set manually... BUT would be MS able to teach itself to new mixtures due to more air? will it compensate for that with more fuel?

How about aircon and ABS? will that still work if I take out factory ECU?

Start at top and read ALLOFIT!!!
ABS should be on seperate controller and should not be impacted by MS swap. Do the 2004 1.6 engines have VVT? If so you need a VVT controller too.

Read the above mentioned threads and you will find 99% of your answers.

Please add your location!!!

I second Sixshooter's recommendation of Sturovo. He does so much work that he should be able to give you good prices on Manifold, downpipe, coolant and oil lines. And they will fit. If you want to DIY, he will know sources, although he is over in Slovakia.

Lynx is also in Slovakia. I think they should talk about options.
