Default BEGI S3 Fuel Pump Question

Does anyone know why the BEGI Kits come with an additional fuel pump for you to add next to the fuel filter insted of a internal tank replacement? It just seems like alot of work to add the other one under the car. When it would be easier to just replace the stock one.

The kit's don't come with an extra fuel pump to my knowledge unless you want to install a pierberg inline.
They might come with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (aluminum UFO thing), but i don't recall them including a fuel pump.
The best thing about BEGI is you can tell them what to include and what not to include in your kit. If you want something else then just tell them so.
If you're looking for an in tank pump you can get a walbro 190 from lighting motorsports for like $90.

Corky hates walbro units and swear by the longevity of the pierburg. It's an option in some kits if you decide you wanna up the boost

Well I have the kit and the pierburg pump was with the kit. It is all installed and running great. It was just more work and a kajilian fittings to install the pump correctly.

Now that you say that I remember Corky saying he hates the walbro's for longevity and he seems to think they're overly noisy as well compared to the pierburg and stock pump.

Not sure about the 190s, but my "Overkill" 255 is loud as hell. I don't really care all that much, but every time someone rides in my car for the first time, they're asking about that damn whine.
