BEGI manifold to a turbo adapter that bends 90 degrees downwards so turbo is mounted under instead of a side mount.

I'd like to be externally gated and I think it would make DP fab easier.

I've seen this on Ebay but not with a bend:

More failure points? There has to be a way to work in an EWG elsewhere

Its hard to find those things even T25 flanged, let alone with a bend in it.
Youre better off sending your manifold to BEGiu and having them put an EWG flange on it like they do.

Don't like the idea of having cast welded. Plus, it's $$$.

As long as its properly pre-heated you can weld to cast pretty successfully.

I understand though. I was in the same boat with the same manifold and likely the same poor excuse for boost control you get with an IWG.

I think they warranty it for 6 months. Then you're SOL.

Isn't the Begi side-mount the manifold that the track crew most often has to re-torque loosening bolts at the turbo-mani mating surface? I wouldn't think adding extra distance between the head and the turbo on this manifold would be a great idea, not to mention the extra failure points argument.

I vote get a proper bottom-mount with a well-placed EWG flange.
