I know there are some people on this site who believe we should be nice to everyone. These people may even be some of the more knowledgeable people on this site, who make it what it is. But do we REALLY want people spewing **** like this in every thread? Or never learning (even if it is the hard way) that they can actually do things themselves.
Sure we loose some members of the community by driving them away, but these are the people that need to be driven away. Those that fight through the **** storm and are still remaining are the ones that will continue on to greatness (or eventual part-out, but that is a glorious way to go out)
Anyways. Enjoy your day.

Then act like it. Stop acting like ******** and help the guy that doesnt know. When someone comes to the gym and needs to learn how to defend himself, i show him, most times people revert back to what they know. If its wrong through repetition and ONLY through repetition am i able to train him/her to defend themselves correctly. I came here because I heard you guys were smart. I heard that THIS place had the info. What i did not know was how stingy some can be about sharing.
When someone is wrong, tell them, but explain it in a way that they can understand. "No" doesn't always work, even a five year old will say "why" EVERYONE here was taught by mommy and daddy the word "hot" but no one learned until they touched it. Let me touch it, then help me understand why it hurt. THAT'S what im asking, Help me understand WHY? can someone please do that?

To make this comparison more accurate:
Let's say that in that same gym, there's a sign as you walk in the door, and in front of every workout area, which says "there's a room in the back where you'll learn everything you need to get started if you aren't sure what you're looking at here."
In that room, you've got people willing to sit down and explain, and stand up and show and document how to work out, what's effective and what isn't, and where you'd be wasting your time.
If that were the case, and people still came up to you asking "how do I bulk up my delts bro, my delts need bulking" You'd probably be irritated too.
Telling us that we owe you spoonfeeding really, really won't help. Others have tried that too. Others have also tried eBay builds. Only one (that I recall) has succeeded, and he's re-engineered most every weak spot.

been reading a lot on some of the Japanese forums and trying to figure out what those guys are doing also. Decided for whatever reason to change the cams (even though people here say its a waste of time). Ordered cams from toda intake (part number 1411-b60-l12) and exhaust (part number 14121-b60-l01) for you gear heads you can look the cam sheet up.
This was something that they used and said it worked well.
Got the adjustable cam gears from OBX. Toyota used OBX at one point, so i figured i would give them a try also. pulled out the old cams, cam gear, and cleaned the Hydraulic Lifters Lash Adjusters (or whatever they are called) and replaced them with the for mentioned parts. It got dirty, took some time, about 8 hours. Most of that was trying to figure out how to put cams in without bending anything. Rotated the engine a few times by hand to make sure it was back together properly. Checked the book to reassure myself I was doing this right. Had a good time. anyway here are the picts. you can flame now

This thread kind of outlines the platform. There are like a million others with this info in it as well. But it's all here breh! TIYTE, right yo? Think of miataturbo as if it were Easter and your parents hid eggs with money and candy all over the yard. GO GET EM!

Ah man. Cams. That was like the last place you should have spent money.
Do cams make a difference? Sure. But nowhere near as much of a difference as using quality parts in the other areas of your turbo build.

There is a reason why cams are not addressed in the DIY Turbo sticky. But if the Japanese forums are using it... well then obviously you should.
LOL at having ALL the information needed to make a badass build, but going to some other forum and buying something not needed at all for a turbo build.

I took a motorcycle class in Australia. One thing was told to me that I wont forget, he said. "Jonathan, don't worry so much about making the slow corners fast, just the fast corners faster" After some practice, i shaved about 4 seconds off my times at Laguna because I DIDNT listen..lol so yeah, i spent my money and Im learning more every day. Thanks for the support

I just don't get it. You supposedly have the "hookup". Have at least decent money. Have all the information you need on this website for an infinite number of successful builds. Yet you just buy dumb **** and use no logic. I am not even trying to be mean. I just need to understand. Do you literally just do things wrong to be different? Or are you just slow?
