So my turbo install is complete. After the first run i noticed im leaking coolant. Both coolant fittings on the turbo are leaking. Im reading the BEGI guide it says do not use any sealant. How am i supposed to fix this problem? Should i tighten them up more?

which type of clamps are you using?

normal worm clamps on a barb fitting. The same setup which reduces the hose size is at the heatercore lines which are not leaking. I can see the coolant leak out from the threads. This only happens when i shut down my car. There was no leak or steam as i idled for 10 mins and the second i stopped it, the smoke show started.

Not sure why BEGi says no sealant. I would think some kind of sealant, at least around the top few threads wouldnt hurt anything, but maybe they have a reason.

Thats what im planning on doing if no one else suggests anything. But it seems BEGi is pushing the no sealant thing pretty far.
"If for any reason your must remove it - DO NOT use sealant or you risk sealant getting into the turbo bearing and blocking oil flow. No sealant, no sealing washer, no nothing."

Yeah I can see that argument, but Im sure they have to cover their ***. I cant see the coolant being contaminated by thread sealant at the tops of the threads. I wouldnt get it on the lower threads though.

since you are using a BEGi kit, give em a call or email. Stephanie (Corky's daughter who seems to do most of the human relations type stuff) is active on the board, so you can also try giving her a PM, she knows her stuff.

slowly tighten them until it stops. I usually tighten a clamp until the rubber starts to indent nicely.

Im using a DIY kit using their install as a guide. I decided to take them out. It was a PITA without taking the turbo out. Why doesnt anyone make super narrow wrenches? Either way, I put some teflon tape on it, will start her up tomorrow to see how well it holds up.
