Default V-Mount setups, info, pictures?

Hey guys,

Because the forum wont let you search 'v mount' searching only 'mount' I used google.
Still, there isnt a lot of info.

Im particularly interested in photos of rad/IC mounts and V-mounts with the front bar off.

It seems a little difficult to achieve with a stock height radiator.

Thanks,
Dann

Splitimes' v-mount was one of the original, check his build thread.

Try leatherface's for a NB solution.

Thanks for the links.
The tube front NA has been a lot of my inspiration.
Looking to do a similar setup, turbo position and all with a teeny tiny turbo I have but with a 600x180mm intercooler

Any reason its not so common?
Simply a lot of engineering?

Yeah, it's just difficult, or at least it can be.

Stacked heat exchangers have been shown to work well on track with the proper ducting, so there's not a HUGE demand.

With all the fabrication involved, you better have a high powered track toy to justify it.

Forgot to say Sav has a kind of V-mount too, check his latest build thread.

Go browse the RX7 forums. All the track guys there do v-mounts. Dunno why but they say it's because the nose hole is so small. It's the same size as a Miata one so I don't get it... but hey, there are some awesome v-mount builds there. rx7club.com
