M12 x 1.5 oil fitting w 1mm restrictor

I bought a M10 x 1.5 oil fitting w 1mm restrictor for my hybrid T25/T28 turbo from Twisted motions. The fitting doesn’t fit in the receiving end of my turbo (fitting to small). So I figure I should pick up a M12 x 1.5 oil fitting w 1mm restrictor but I can’t find any fittings with a 1mm restrictor. I can only find M12 x 1.5 oil fitting w 1.5mm restrictor.

Is a 1mm and 1.5mm that huge of a difference??

What is the restrictor for, exactly?

Had this problem with an older FM kit, ended up having to restrict the fitting in the block, might look into that

So having the M10 x 1.5 fitting w the 1mm restrictor on the block side instead of the turbo side?? That’s not a bad idea. It’ should work with no issues right ????

I seem to recall if you use an 3AN size line then no restrictor is suggested. Garret suggested it on a 4 or larger supply line. Google is your friend.

EDIT: I used this one in the turbo end on my journal bearing turbo maybe one of them has the thread to fit yours. Jets Turbo Oil Restrictor

It worked great.

My badd, forgot to mention I have already have a 4AN size oil line. My question now is since I already have a M10x1.5 fitting with a 1mm restrictor purchased.

Has anyone tried plugging a 1mm restrictor fitting into the block and just have a regular M10x1.5 (in my case M12x1.5) oil fitting go into the turbo an not have any issues?

Otherwise, JEgs it is, haha

Aren't all the fittings in the turbo metric? Those Jegs restrictors appear all SAE. I guess you could add some more adapters in the line.

Like I said "maybe one of them has the thread to fit yours"...

If it's this turbo then yes, metric oil fitting: T25 T28 Hybrid Turbo which calls out 1.5mm restrictor hole.

So... easy button is to buy something like this: Adapter Fitting M12x1.25 mm -4AN / 1.5mm restrictor
