Default am I crazy for doing this?

While I try to figure out my freakin MS, im running my car at 9 to 10lbs of boost with only a fpr and 305cc injectors. Ive been doing this for a few weeks now, no detinotion at all, even full load in 5th gear. a/f is 12.2:1 at the leanest.

Its pretty cool the car is quicker now than when I had the bipes thanks to the lack of retard. Maybe I can do this just cuz its cold here now? Whatever, ill take it.

Something tells me you can't hear the detonation, or you have a big intercooler.

Watch your oil pressure gauge under a full throttle pull.
What's your AFR curve like? Richest?

18x12x3 intercooler, richest a/f under boost is around 11.5, I have done pulls while looking at the oil pressure gauge, no twitching.

a/f curve is like

full boost at 3150 rpm, 12:1

4000rpm 11.7:1

5000 rpm 11.6:1

6000 rpm 11.8:1

7000 rpm 12:1

my fuel pressure hits about 85psi at 4k rpm, then tapers off to about 77 pis, whch would explain the a/f riseing alittle.

I'm jealous, I have to put up with AFR's in the 9s down low and up top to keep from going too lean in the midrange.

really? thats odd...

I also get around 14.7:1 while cruiseing with the 305cc's, it works pretty well for me.

Yeah, I'll post some logs or something in a thread, then ultimately resolve that I just need to ditch the setup and get a megasquirt.

My stock ecu wouldn't cruise at stoich, but it would idle at stoich. I fixed that with emanage.
