Default MR2 450cc Black top injectors - will work??

Hi Guys

This is the only info I have found on the Low impedance injectors from the sticky and the search function.

"86-92 Toyota Supra (7MGTE) TURBO – (430cc – Black Top)
Toyota MR2 (3SGTE) TURBO – (430cc – Black Top)"

I have some MR2 supposedly 450cc Blacktop injectors, code 23250-74090

1. Has anyone had these work previously in a Miata?
2. Does anyone have the code of the 3SGTE injectors from above to add to the sticky ("all your answers in one big post").

P.S. I know RX7 injectors work so please don't tell me to buy these, I'm a cheap *** and value - value for money.

They should work with the connector and size, but they are low imp injectors.

They are also side feed injectors. So unless you plan on running a custom fuel rail they won't work.

Even if it is side feed make a fuel rail to fit it shouldn't be hard if you know a machinist.

MR2 Turbo (2nd gen 3SGTE) injectors are side feed. They are only 440cc's at that. The 3gen 3SGTE (non available in the US) has 450cc injectors, but they are also side feed..

So pay 200 to 300 for the custom rail plus fittings and fuel pressure regulator for another 150 to 200. Plus the headache of designing it
That defeats the purpose of buying used drop in injectors.
You would be way better off getting a set of injectors from deatschwerks.

I put a Gen 3 3SGTE in my MR2 and it came stock with a set of side feed 550cc injectors. The Gen 2 fuel rail and injectors(440cc) had flow issues and would lean out the #3 & #4 injectors if you put in a high volume fuel pump.

Shot guys, I had no idea they were side feed, from the blurry picture I saw of them. Good to know though, you all just saved me a headache and 60 kiwi dollars!!
