Mazdaspeed Manifold?

Will this bolt on to a 1994? Search shows it will fit a 99, not sure about the 94. Also, anyone know what kind of flange is on it?

Should bolt on, the flange is for an IHI.

This is the turbo.

Yes, and not off hand.

The flange is proprietary to the IHI turbo it was made for the MSM. Unless you can alter the flange, you are stuck with the itty bitty turbo. However, there are a couple of companies that can modify the stock turbo with a larger compressor wheel that increases it volume and efficieny. There is also some IHI/MSM turbos availible on ebay right now for around $300ish.

I'm not 100 percent sure the information that went around on the MSM forum about the turbo was correct. For the MSM the turbo is proprietary in the fact that since it's a IHI turbo the car is limited to the choice of replacement units to fit without completely changing the oil/water feeds and drains and the DP. I would guess you could measure out the pattern and the opening dimensions and see if there is another turbo that fits the manifold since it does matter to you how you run lines and build a DP.

The flange on the MSM manifold is differnt. It only fits that turbo. If this is incorrect there are a lot of people that have been looking in the wrong place. I believe begi and FM will tell you the same.

atpturbo.com sells replace turboz for the MS3, however, i believe it's only a 3071 ;)

Just realized I may have mis spoke. I was under the impression you were talking about the intake from the mazdaspeed miata. If that is the case, I am correct in my statements. If not, I don't have a clue and should STFU
