Default 1.8 injector specs - discrepancy in the FAQ?

Just wanted to check the 1.8 (tantop) injector capacity.

The DIY FAQ states two different values - 254cc and 265 cc.

Further, I've done numerous searches online and also have a (saturated) value of 240cc.

Which is correct???

I'm looking to know exactly so I can input the correct injector correction factor into the EMB.

Cheers.

EMB correction isnt enough to register people use them stock with no mods, so just put in 240 and call it a day.

Tan top injectors in a M1, will run 235/240 cc.... The reason they flow up to 260 in a M2, is because of the 60psi fuel system....

So if you are running the stock return system, in an M1, 240 will be fine for a correction factor. <G>

The M2.5's have different injectors IIRC though, which might flow a little more... different colour top too....

I used 240 and it came out real close to perfect.

I have two specs because I havent seen a consitant flow yet. I've seen some reports of around 255cc or so (Witchhunter's) @ 43.5psi, and some at 265cc or so (Bruce's, Ben's and Flyin' Miata) @ 43.5psi, but it gets you in the ballpark.

But from my dyno results, they worked out to be 265cc, and what I consider them to be.

It's just like the 305cc supra injectors that all flows I've seen flow them at around 315cc.

Really the difference between those values isn't great enough to matter. There's quite a bit of fudge factor here as closed loop the car will figure out fuel delivery on its own and open loop is programmable via the emb.
