Hi All

New to to the turbo miata forum. Having an issue with my mk1 mx5 1.8 the TPS is showing 100% on tuner studios and when the car starts it will rev to 2500rpm constantly with the slightest press of gas.
However i removed the TPS plug and it will idle around 2000rpm drop down to 1600rpm then will rise again once engine is warm. However the car is overheating now and not staying at a stable temperature.

Could you please look at the logs for reference. New Log5.mlg is the one with TPS disconnected
Other log is with it connected
