MSPNP working -- mostly.
 

It's acting rather oddly. I just installed it and drove it from Las Vegas to San Francisco and for the most part it did fine. However...

Startup takes more cranks of the starter than with the stock ECU.

The idle seems to vary quite a bit from about 1.1k rpm down to the 800 rpm I have it set for.

Medium-hard acceleration results in pulses, or surges if you will. If I nail it, this disappears. Normal acceleration is fine as well.

Idle drops below then rebounds to normal when I put the clutch in at a stop.

That last reminds me of what happens when you have air entering the intake system post-AFM.

This is on a 93' with a Greddy at about 4.5 psi and cruise control.

Vaccum line??? CC? Is the boost the problem perhaps?

I've checked the timing twice and it's dead on at 10 btdc.

I'm a complete novice at this stuff, which is why I got the PNP. Stock AFM map.

You will definitely need to learn how to get your car tuned or get it tuned by a professional. The Stock AFM map you are currently running on your MS is for a stock car with AFM. Since you are running somewhat boost, you will need to adjust your map.
Your best bet will be to start reading the MSPNP tuning manual.

I'm going to read the manual, but if the stock ECU works fine with boost, I'm not real sure why the MSPNP shouldn't. Obviously there are differences, but these symptoms seem to indicate faulty input rather than misinterpreted input.

I should have mentioned, that the symptoms are not occurring 100% of the time.

I'm going to test the vacuum system and then see if there's a crimp in the hose anywhere.

This would have been better posted in the megasquirt section. Make sure your map sensor is set accordingly. Once mine was calibrated for a 2.5 bar and i had a 4. Make sure you have the correct firmware installed and timing is set correctly and the tps is calibrated properly as well.
