Default thinking about returboing

or going the IRTB route.

Was wondering what new DIY manifold options are out there now.

When I stopped keeping track of things the only options for "prewelded" were
1. The canadian place ETD(i think)
2. JGS (but only the 1.8's were fully assembled as an option)
3. SS Autochrome (megan etc) which I do not trust.

Any new options?

corksport, begi comes to mind.

i think tony makes them for the 1.8.

as for the irtbs, i taked to james at fuji-racing white at the gap last month. that's a pretty cool setup and it runs better than the rs aizawa. i think the key is the ecu he uses.

i just found old style 1.6 BEGI manifold for 250 from BEGI

and my other though was the Fuji-racing 1.6 kit. less stuff to buy. Becaues If i get a turbo i still have to get the lines, i/c piping, i/c, downpipe, injectors, ecu again, etc

if you cant fabricate its going to cost you...

the ITB thing is relativley simple if you can weld

get the flanges machined or just cut one off a stock manifold
weld short lengths of pipe, round on the itb end and matched to the port shape on the flange end
some silicone couplers to connect the itb's to the manifold flange/adapter
modify the crap out of the bikes intake manifold or make your own to still retain the MAF or convert to a MS or something?

Someday i hope to do both. Turbo for now and try the ITB thing when i do a 99 head swap

I also can make manifolds similar to the JGS, but preported and little higher quality.
