My DIY Turbo kit shopping list: Am I missing anything?
Im about to turbo my '90. I've got about 140k on it so im going with a small turbo to be as nice as possible to its aging piston rods. Im not going with a standalone or PnP just yet due to my limited budget so I just want to make sure that everything i've got together will work and my car wont blow up
Stuff I've got together already:
DSM T25 Turbo - (Mitsubishi)
Intercooler & Piping - (XSPOWER /SSAUTOCHROME)
Blow off valve - (Go Fast Bits)
Manifold and downpipe - (CX Racing aka ebay)
Exhaust - (Roadstersport)
Oil filter relocation kit - (Ebay)
Oil Cooler - (Earl's)
Head Studs - (ARP)
Cometic Head Gasket - (Flyin Miata)
Dual Feed Fuel Rail - (Flyin Miata)
305cc Fuel Injectors - (Supra 23250-70080)
190 HP Fuel Pump - (Walbro)
O2 Clamp - (Olderguy)
Stuff I still need to buy:
Lines/Fittings
MS PnP (lolz thanks for belittling me into this everyone, haha)
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
Am I missing anything? I would totally appreciate some feedback, just because I dont want to forget something and have it blow up my car, or something along those lines. Pretty stoked to boost, but at the same time im nervous because i know nothing about FI.

Is it just me or do people eliminate megasquirt from their build plans in the beginning because they are afraid of it? I just cant think of any other good explanation for not getting it.

If you already bought any of this stuff, sell it or dont buy it and get a megasquirt. In this day and age I dont know why anyone would bother with bandaids.

May I ask why you dismiss the Walbro? I thought it was a great idea to get a new pump and filter to reduce troubleshooting and fail risk if something happens? Plus they are so cheap, why not?

That's quite a bit of cheapness on that list. You might want to try and spend a few extra and get some more quality parts the first time around. If you go too cheap you WILL be revisiting things later.
Things I wouldn't do:
DSM turbo
Ebay manifold/downpipe
Clamps, regulators, and 305's
Get the tacotaco manifold from ebay and a t3/t4 ebay turbo, MS, and some rx7 460's instead.

Wow! tons of replies already! thanks
I've had the exhaust already since I got the car. I forgot to include that i have upgraded to an ACT clutch kit as well (installed already).
I skipped on the MS because of financial reasons, and fear, but I guess i failed to do the math (big surprise, i suck at math... a lot) because for a hundred or so extra over my "bandaid" solution i could have gotten that.
I needed a fuel pump, my OEM one is on its way out so i figured i should just upgrade while im at it. I got the bigger injectors/fuel rail because eventually i will probably upgrade to a bigger turbo and also because i read on here about boosted miatas having fuel distribution issues.
I went with the cxracing mani/downpipe because i read some reviews on zilvia and most people who went with it were surprisingly happy about the way theirs performed for them and found it to be a pretty good bang for the buck.

As someone who has wasted a lot of money on different:
turbos
injectors
manifolds
bandaid parts( clamps, regulators)
I can tell you that people are being 110% serious when a MS should be the #1 thing on your list. Don't chance your motor with little 30 and 40 dollar management parts. Get Braineack to make you a DIY MS for around 400 smacks and be done with it.

Turbo_4, that makes a lot of sense. I havent bought the afpr yet, maybe i'll just get one of those braineacks if they're cheap like that. I must have been looking in the wrong place for them cuz the cheapest I found an MS for was $700.
Do they need to be tuned? Do I still need the AFPR?

I did search and read the FAQ, how about you go **** yourself, :**********:.
This is why i dont post on forums. If you're not going to help someone with a question they have... dont post in their thread. If you feel compelled to make a stupid ******* comment, you should just go **** yourself ahead of time and save people like me the time of telling you to do just that.

Look through this thread for a minute:
https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-parts-sale-trade-5/1990-2005-ms3x-diypnp-ms3module-pnp-assembly-14598/
After reading through and getting an understanding of how it works, shoot him a pm and he will fill you in on how much it costs and what all he can do for you.
I had very little experience with the MS and was very scarred purchasing one and adding it to my DIY setup but after slowly getting used to it, I'm a lot better off...I'm still learning. For the price, it is well worth it.

It was a really stupid question that showed that you really haven't even studied enough to be ready to start buying parts.
He wasn't a dick, but you sure were.
You obviously need us a hell of a lot more than we need you. You should try being gracious when asking for help. Or drown. I could care.
And before you complain about me being a dick, I answered your question and am still here if you have any more. Try to use some decorum in the forum, please.

I'm still deliberating on whether or not i can afford to do an MS right now. I might go with the setup I have above for a few months. Im not looking to have 250hp. All im looking for is a basic turbo setup on a car that I almost never drive aggressively. I was asking whether or not what i have will allow me to turbo my car without blowing it up, and also if i had a complete list of parts needed to assemble it. (a lot of stuff has pre/co-requisite parts that are needed in order to run them, etc). This is my daily driver that I take to and from work everyday.
I did read the DIY FAQs and everything many times but being someone who is not an expert mechanic with little experience with FI (like i said in my OP) I didnt understand a lot of the language/documentation. I was asking questions to clarify things that i misunderstood. Thanks everyone who has responded thus far.
Thanks Turbo_4 for that link. In my research I never came across that thread, it explained a lot... thx.
Can anyone offer a guesstimate on how much lines/fittings run on average? Im trying to see if there is room in my budget for the MS.
