it was actually more like 11-12psi. The virtual dyno wasn't importing it correctly.

Here's after todays tweaks which is where I will probably leave it.

Looks better, I'm guessing a little more timing and a little less fuel. Picked up nicely on the top.

 

Yes to both. I know I have seen faster spool with this turbo on here. The boost duty starts tapering pretty early and timing down there is quite conservative.

 

Also you are doing your pulls in 3rd gear. Spoolup will be much sooner in higher gears. Also I'm sure the boost could be coming in sooner but it looks really smooth right now, nothing wrong with smooth.

 

yep, 3rd gear. This is a 5 spd for what it's worth.

 

4th gear is your 1:1 ratio. If you do a pull in 4th I bet it shows higher power and sooner spoolup.

 

Is that what post people are doing for their data on here?

 

I'm not sure to be honest. I use 5th gear for mine but I'm running a 6 speed. I mean if you keep using the same road and use 3rd gear every time you're results are very repeatable, but 4th should show a little bump in power. Try it out and find out.

OP, Your timing is very conservative.

Just for refrence I have a 8.5:1 engine but I run 18* ramping to 22-23* in what would be your 180kpa row. I have a Hydra so my timing map looks totally different but yea just wanted to give you an idea.

Then your timing map is probably getting pretty close to where it needs to be. You have to retard far more timing on 10:1.

 

Ummmm! Is the hardtop in the trunk? My car was 2530 something with no soft top, a trunk full of tools and snacks, plus my fat ***. NB1 though.
