FWIW my Greddy manifold has been on 3 cars with 3 different owners with a fair bit of miles (10k minimum). No relief cuts and no cracks.

Thumbs up

Got the big brakes put on the rear, fronts are today's project. Takes twice as long when everything is rusted together, had to replace the rear hard line and the caliper bolts were completely dried out.

I will try to post more pics once the brakes are done and get the wheels put back on. Waiting on some small turbo parts.

Those backshields are pretty hammered. But isn't it nice to finish, and see the shiny new rotors?

Good luck with your build man. It looks like you are doing all of the right things.
When I first saw the ebay cast mani I freaked out. I cant believe that they havent made one for the 1.8 yet.
Good luck!

BTW thicker aluminum radiator should correct your heating problem. Or the good old re-route...

Yeah, they took a bit of abuse to get them away from the rotors, the fronts required almost no effort at all, but did have to replace the driver side hardline from the master cylinder.

Just curious what you think the odds of this thing fitting with that setup would be:

the ATP pieces use a 3in pipe and won't mate up with the 2.5in v-band oulet I'm using from them.
