NA Air flow meter what to use
I have a 1991 Miata 1.6 that I am wanting to put a turbo on in the near future. I will probably buy the parts a little at a time until I have all the components I need to do the job. My Air flow meter is bad and I was wondering if there was a better Air Flow meter you could buy for the turbo installation. Or do most people use the original Air Flow meter when they install a turbo?

I have figured out for myself and have been told to go MegaSquirt before turboing, get an idea of how it works, make sure it works, then turbo it.
If your AFM is bad, now would be a good time to switch to MegaSquirt and tune by MAP setup. You'll get a better tune and pick up some power on the way |
Switch to your stand alone now with speed density, learn to tune NA where its a lot harder to break things.
