Default rev limiter + shooting flames

I was playing around with my rev limiter and I have it set to timing retard to 12 degrees. When I hit rev limiter, it does't bounce, it just hits it and kind of dies down. What setting for rev limiter would be safe to run? what kind of limiter makes it bounce? Also, if i want to shoot flames and backfire while regular driving how do i do that. I tried richening up the fuel cells under deceleration but still no backfire. Or does backfiring just mean bad tuning? I just want to know which limiter is safe and which one is less safe but makes you shoot flames and how to shoot flames under normal driving and deceleration. Thanks for the help.

Just keep raising the rev limit and it will eventually do something cool.

Also you have another post on here about running lean when hot. I suggest you work on that before you consider compounding issues with harmful theatrics.

(Turn off overrun fuel cut and use spark cut for the limiter)
please reconsider.

OP remove woodruff key from crank nose, do WOT pulls, and come back with results.
