Same head flange between the 2.0 and 2.5 correct?? Also, I hear the 2.5 heads when massaged slightly can yield some proper results??
I would love to get my hands on one of the MZR-R engines. With Indy lights kicking the bucket, I wonder how long before they pop up?? Anyways.....

The NC's are a way better platform to boost than our cars for the following reasons:
- 09+ comes with forged internals.
- Transmissions don't explode when you look at them
- Larger displacement engine makes for quicker spool and transient response
- Ability to flash stock ECU and have actual decent knock detection
- Strong diffs
Once they drop down in price even further I think they will replace the NA/NB as the "easy to turbo" Miata's.

The EPA works in mysterious ways. If a third party is able to use a MS product to fool emissions readiness, EPA will place blame with MS for not locking the OBD-II protocol output down tightly enough.

I'm trying to find the case of where a person or company was making a device specifically designed to shown emissions readiness (I think it was DSM's). Huge fines were levied on them when they were discovered.

P.S EPA compliance cost $$$$. It an be done, but unless you have the deals in place (history of OEMs) and the $$$ to sink, then yeah....

The key difference is that the Enhanced MS3 fully implements the OBD-II stack. This means that readiness monitors are only set if there are no pending or active DTCs, as the Enhanced MS3 supports about 60 different DTCs, much like the stock ECU.
