if so then where the **** did i go wrong on this turbo thing lol
That is false. Any air pressure above 100kpa will need tuning because the stock ECU has no way to account for the extra air so fuel and timing will be off. Revert the car back to stock and keep it.

Umm...this sounds right...

BOV should blow air out, into precompressor intake tract, when it sees vacuum from the signal line. That is, if it's a recirc valve. If it's sucking air in and VTA, then it's just leaking, which is really bad if you're still on the stock AFM.

Only if you find someone who is as clueless as you used to be, a week ago. Do the research as suggested above, and make an informed decision on if this project is really for you.

You fail at both reading and asking intelligent questions.

And you type like an 8 year old on a cell phone.

I predict you will continue to **** up.

Your follow up questions prove you either didn't bother to read the information at the links that were posted or you are too ridiculously stupid to deserve to breathe. If it is the first, I hope someone clubs you to death like a baby seal. If it is the second, I hope someone clubs you to death like a baby seal.

OP (that's you bobo), life here isn't really that hard. Take your time and read each post in this thread. Answer the questions that you can, ask for clarification if you don't understand the question. I don't know your education level, but use the built in spell check and try and at least attempt at punctuation. Oh and READ THE LINKS POSTED. Being 17 is no excuse.

I eagerly await these pictures. Should be fun.

Why is it always the young kids who who get all butthurt when somebody tells them they just fucked up?

Dude, life is a lot harder when you can't take a little ribbing. Suck it up and press on. It's the internet brother, everybody has an ******* and some people's are right below their nose. Be a good sport, laugh it off, and let us know what we can do to help.

Because everyone gets a trophy these days. Nobody is ever told the truth when they suck.
They expect a "poor baby, we'll fix it all for you" when they aren't willing to even read the links we go out of our way to post to try to help them. IF you don't put forth ANY EFFORT you deserve to lose your engine.

We are a helpful bunch and we have gone out of our way to spoon feed this to you. That you don't bother to read what we linked for you pisses me off. Foolish men may ask for advice from wise men, they just won't follow it.

Holy crap, you have a Turbo no hit block setup!

Personally, take it all out and shelf the turbo until you get proper engine management. You should be able to find an exhaust manifold and all the intake piping for cheap at a local wrecker.

thanks

You are following advice now with the pics and that is good.
There is much fail in the pics, however.

Your blow off valve (BOV) (the purple thing) is vented to atmosphere and that is wrong (the big opening should have a hose on it going back to the black pipe that has the air filter on it). Your manual boost controller (MBC) is hooked up backwards (the lines are reversed). I'm trying to figure out where one of the other lines goes when it disappears. The poorly attached thermal header wrap is covering up the cracks in your exhaust manifold. There is so much missing and so much wrong. You have $500 worth of useless pieces loosely fastened to your car. Don't worry, it is not a turbo kit.

My sincere advice:
Take that little bit of aftermarket stuff off of the car and sell it on Craigslist. Then put the car back to stock and enjoy driving it. Good luck.

First of all, to a general question to the community: How does he not have an idle control valve hookup and still be running? I thought it was required to run.

And to the OP, Bobo, go read the faqs. Don't sell the car. Leave it sit for a while, and research, actively post here, and ask questions (In that order). Also, being 17 is no reason to not type properly with good grammar; I'm 16 and don't have any trouble at all with it.

Learn all you can, absorb the information, and for now, DON'T DRIVE THE CAR. Do not drive it until you fix it. Draft help; go post on M.net, they talk dumb but a lot of them know what they're doing. Ask for help there, and hopefully someone can turn up and help you. Ask here, I'm sure someone is relatively close and will be willing to help.

Also, I noticed no fuel or spark management whatsoever in those pictures. Be prepared to spend 4-500 dollars on a Megasquirt before you can drive the car at all; MS isn't a safety precaution, it isn't a power adder, it isn't bling bling JDM, it's a necessity. It is ABSOLUTLY REQUIRED to run without blowing up your engine. Without it, your car is running super lean and WILL blow up after a couple of miles. Yes, it's going to be annoying with no car, it's going to be tempting to drive it before you put the MS in, but ******* wait. YOU NEED TO.

Apart from the engine management, the car, minus the ebay manifold and downpipe, doesn't seem to bad. If it's mechanically solid, don't **** it up by neglecting engine management.

I was in a similar situation, though not as deep. I wanted to turbocharge my Miata, and I was going to do everything wrong. I didn't even know about the existence of engine management. Luckily for me, I met someone who helped me out and put up with my bullshit questions. I know what you're going through, PM me and I'll shoot you my number so you can ask any questions you might have; I'm no expert, but I'll do what I can to help.
