A turnip cures Elvis. Blond rhino spaniel. A few astral clerks repel Newark, Fort Red Border. IOW: WTF are you rambling about? |

for one damn minute stop being shitheads and answer the question. if you spent half as much time answering questions as you did being assholes then more shit would get done. this is a MIATA forum. Why bitch at people for asking questions about the car? Now I HAVE SEARCHED but have not found a good answer to my question. So to someone who would actually like to help: I want to know the best pistons and rods for internals and the best compressor trim for my turbo.

IF SOMEHOW you manage to think up a question that hasn't been asked before and it's not completely assinine then it will be ginen a very thoughtful well composed response. Lern to search, read and your questions will be answered, guarantee it, or fucks sake, sam just put together a thread with every site you'd ever even need to visit if you own a miata including vendors that sell the parts you asked about it. Now do what you're told or leave us the fuck alone. |

Anyway, I was once new to this too, but I read things, understood why people did things a certain way, not just that they did, and came to my own conclusions. You can do the same, you just need to take a step back, grab a beer, (chill the fuck out...) and start reading. You can start with the FAQ (search: FAQ) and go from there. Come back with some more specific questions and we'll* be more than happy to help. * I'll try to anyway, you've probably already dug too deep a hole with 80% of the other members. |
my apologies.

We need to have current specs on the car also, put it in your sig, along with a location in your profile. What's the budget on the project? I could tell you very easily based on your post to just call flyinmiata, order a stroker motor, and slap a 30r on it. That'll get you your power goal and above if you want.... But what do you really want? Do you want a responsive setup with limitations around 300 and easy daily driver status below that? Do you want a setup that has lots of headroom? What sort of mamagement do you want to run? Too many questions to answer in one post my friend! There's a wealth of knowledge here, some of these guys make my brain hurt sometimes, you just have to ask the right questions! |
