Threaded pipe in the exact size you need.
1/4", 3/4", 1" hole saw bit (match to your pipe)
cut-off wheel to cut down the threads.
screw in. JB Weld. Set it and forget it.
It's how I ran my BOV recirc.

Awesome, I think I'll wait until I've got all the parts here and then fab it up... no sense in buying right now. I'll just take everything with me when I go to HD and make sure it's the right size.
Also, I just paid for my turbo. It's an actual Garrett T25, not DSM or Nissan or off of any production car. It's a .48Turbine/.48Compressor... should be fine for my needs. It has a standard T25 turbine inlet flange and 5bolt exhaust flange. Both the compressor inlet/outlet are ready for couplers, no adapter flange needed. I paid $140 for it and that includes a full Garrett rebuild kit that I'll need to do (expect a full writeup)... but that should mean I've got a turbo that should last ME as long as I own it. I think this turbo was the test unit for this guys shop. The seller has been awesome and is selling me the rebuild kit at cost. I think it's exactly what I was looking for... we'll see.
Only things left are:
Bipes: Hopefully Lazzer isn't mad at me for making fun of his 17"s and will still sell his to me.
DP: It looks like Begi is the logical choice for this. I know it will fit perfect and last forever.
Piping: I'm going to wait until I've got everything else mounted before I buy even the first piece... that way I can be sure to buy the minimum that I need. No sense in buying a 12pc eBay kit when I'll only use 6 pieces.
Oil Feed Line: I'll buy that when I know how long it needs to be. This will be my only braided line so I want it to be perfect. I'll probably go with turbo-supply.com a 4an 90toStraight and keep it simple.
Best news of all, I'm still under budget.
AND THAT MAKES MY 100th POST! I'm gonna have a cookie.

this is a pretty good write-up:
http://photo.platonoff.com/Auto/2005...Turbo_Rebuild/
Or you can be crazy like me and do it by just looking at a parts list diagram

I actually found that the other day and intend to follow it pretty much straight through. If I find anything amiss or perhaps see "a better way" when following his instructions, or anything about my T25 that differs, I'll be sure to note it and put it in a thread... but it seems like the idiot-proof writeup... I like his style.
My IC showed up today. Kudos to STBRacing from eBay on making good on shipping. After five days of nothing heard after using the "BUY IT NOW", I started sending emails. On the third email/third day I got a response... "Sorry, the holiday interferred with shipping, sorry blah, blah,blah..." I politely suggested that if a Holiday weekend screws them up so bad they can't ship an in-stock part after 8 days, they shouldn't schedule auctions to end the week before Labor Day. That was written about midnight eastern time 30 hours ago. It arrived this afternoon. They FEDEX'd it overnight to me. That's customer service at it's best. Very impressed. The IC was $100 bucks and it looks as sexy as my Spec Clutch. I got the 27x7x2.5 "little guy".

The BOV, injectors, Boost Gauge, and MBC showed up today. Here's a "painted" pic of everything so far. I'm about ready to order the DP from Begi. The next Bipes that comes up anywhere is mine. The IC piping I will work out when the other components are installed... now I just need to buy another car to drive while I'm doing the build.
Anybody have an 01-03 F150 Supercrew they want to sell?
Oops, just noticed in the pic, the oil feed line isn't there. I'll buy that one from turbo-supply when I know what length to buy.
Crap, just noticed the Walbro isn't there either... oh well, when I get everything, I'll post another pic with ALL OF IT listed and labeled.

The note said: Happy early birthday , I thought you would like this since you are going turbo with the mazda, Please don't kill yourself in that matchbox car you call a ride, good luck with the project, your friend , -ruben
Talk about mixed blessings this month, lol my car gets broken into and my radio and pre-installed guages get stolen and I get a emanage...hmmm the tuner gods must be sending their blessings lol

I just got back from dinner. KFJ, the pic is for you!!!
O2 clamp: not initially. I know what to feel for to determine if I need one. I understand that some guys have stumble problems w/transition into boost and some do not. We'll see if I need it.
My Garrett rebuild kit shipped today from Garrett and the turbo should be in the mail tomorrow. I get paid Wed night, so Begi will be getting a phone call Thurs morning. BIPES, where are you???

Here it is, updated as of right meow!
The only thing not on there is the clutch. I paid $310 shipped for my SpecII from: http://www.jdsperformance.com/spec.a...iata&fcmd=cars
I also got a stock 1.6 flywheel free from a guy on m.net who had one lying around. A day or two before I do the swap, I'll have the new one cleaned and resurfaced so there's no downtime. The old one I'll just keep as a spare.
The Walbro I bought here in the classifieds.
The rest if as you see.

I got it off Amazon... but you can do the same price from ebay... they all run about $30-$35+$10shipping. I looked everywhere and you really can't do better than $40 shipped.
Mine is just a 3" round universal. I might think about getting a tapered one that's more conical... we'll see.
If you want an exact shape or fit for a specific space... check here:
http://www.4filters.com/
They sell every shape/size/inlet/style/fit of K&N you can think of. I didn't know there were so many. They run around $40 shipped for the sizes appropriate for miatas... like these:
http://www.4filters.com/Universal-Ru..._p_3-3562.html
http://www.4filters.com/Universal-Ru..._p_3-3542.html
http://www.4filters.com/Universal-Ru..._p_3-3461.html
Mine is a 3" inlet, which matches good good to the 3"x4" rectangular inlet on the RX7 MAF.
The more expensive model called the X-STREAM, actually has the top of the filter as a flow element. It's more expensive, but probably works a little better... like this one:
http://www.4filters.com/Universal-X-..._p_3-3591.html
Here's a boost gauge on ebay... already in eyeball vent... no affiliation:
