re: Turbos- I think 1badMx5 is using some variant of an SC61 making 500hp, but I believe it was altered to adjust the powerband since the first "version" was too laggy. <thread> |
thanks. the sc61 may be a little to laggy but the T04E will be perfect for the starter stock block application. Basically it just needs to hold up at the track to see what it can do. after that it will just be a street car on street tires.

He had used the 5 spd before, kept breaking them at 400ish HP. He also used the RX7 TII driveline, said he hated the way it felt and shifted and remarked that it was so un-miatalike in his opinion. Claimed to love the 6spd though. But I'll tell you this, when I got to ride in that car he beat the shit out of that 6spd and I mean no mercy really. |
