Just pulled out BKR5E spark plugs??

I decided to swap out my plugs today and to my suprise all the plugs were BKR5Es instead of the recommended BKR7Es. Is the 5 series hotter or colder?

One step. he's got a '99 so that's OEM. Get BKR6Es.

Already installed 7's guess i'll have to run them and see what happens.

You want one step colder than stock usually though right?

1 step for every 75-100 hp or so. 2 steps shouldn't hurt.

The BKR7E is already pre-gapped at .035", I believe. The BKR7E-11 is pre-gapped at .043" (the "11" means 1.1mm, or about .043").

Hrm. I grabbed BKR6E-11... How hard is to re-gap them? I bought a feeler tool... Do I just kinda squish the tip of the plug until the gap is right? Maybe I should take 'em back and trade 'em in for some non-11's. It's just a mile up the street.
