Default 14 b wategate question

ok i got a 14b froma dsm talontsi i am droping it in my miata is there any way to lower the psi on the waste gate with out buying one like shiming it and if so how would i shim it

you could try bending the wastegate bracket so there is less tension on the arm, or lengthening the arm a hair. It'll lower the boost but it'll also build boost a bit slower. There's no great way to do it besides going external.

alright thanks ill try that couse i want to run like 5 then go to srock 7 so my motor gits use to it then build the bost

The difference between 5 and 7 psi on a 14b is so small. If you do everything correctly, there's no reason why you can't just do 7psi without any special fab.
