Noob needs turbo help!
 

I have a budget turbo build going on right now. I just bought the mspnp and taco taco cast manifold(t3/t4). I can't seem to find reviews on China turbo brands. Can someone suggest something for around 300$. Jofis racing is doing all the work on this but they said they don't know what turbo I should buy.

There are currently no good t3 china chargers available. No ETA when a decent one will be back in stock in the US. You need to search a ton more.

Problem solved. Td04 is the subi turbo? Also, is it similar to the t3 50ar? I'm looking to max stock injectors. Will it scale as the build progresses?

I saw that video. It's the whole reason I decided to funnel some cash towards the miata. Last question, should I do a ebay deal or some subie fourms to get the best deal?

Stay away from ebay.

99% of td04s out there for sale wont work with you manifold.

You need a volvo/saab turbo.

What flange are the old Greddy ones?

If you hunt the JY you can get a volvo garret tbo363 out of a 740 gl. After that you can either machine down the exhaust housing or you can get the volvo to t3 adapter plate.

So far that has been what I have been doing for my budgeting.

Or he can just get a 15g and the thing will just bolt on. Jeez..

I'm going to hunt for the td04-15g. This stuff is damn complicated glad I asked before I dropped a bunch of $$$ on something. Is there a difference with the td04h-15t?

Taco taco comes in t25. Why not buy a t25 manifold and then you have a million small $200 China turbos to choose from.

I realized my mistake the moment it said shipped! Now all I do is search and read about turbos and I'm not getting very far. Seems like I need to go big or go home at this point. Might just sell the manifold here get a new one and than get one of those s13 turbos. So many td04 turbos online for me to make a decision.

Return it. It's what I did. Bought t3. Then wanted t25. So I returned t3 and bought t25.

2871 is a big turbo. I have 2860 and I think that is laggy

Someone suggested an adapter plate to make this bad boy work. If I get your blessing I will order this guy right now!

dude, return T3, buy T25 Taco and a .48AR turbo. done.

why mess with adapters, and weird fitting turbos with non standard flanges.
