OBX 1.8l Turbo Exhaust Manifold
Has any one used a OBX 1.8l Turbo Exhaust Manifold, Most of what I have read about OBX is that it is Crap.
I have a 1995 Miata with a 1999 Head and Intake setup on it. This is what I trying to do: I need a Basic Log Style Manifold. I want to use a Mitsu TE04H of a 90 Turbo I Dodge( have a Rebuilt on laying around), and need something With a T3 Flange (or even better a Chrysler T3 Flange) I'm not trying to get Big HP out of it I'm just playing. I have a T3 Intercooler setup, a Blitz, BOV, Vortech FMU, and a O2 Clamp. hoping to get 30-50 additional HP out of this setup. Trying to do this very Budget. Any Ideas? |
I have a custom log manifold made for me to mate up with a mitsu. 14b, and I have a 14b. I also have a downpipe I custom made. I wouldn't mind getting rid of it all. It's made for an NB, what do you have?
Mine has a Wastegate and Exhaust housing attached to it. So the down pipe should be easy If I can get a log made. Currently I don't have an exhaust Manifold, I'm looking for Options..... The OBX looked easy to modify but I worry about there Rep.
If you can weld and modify it then why not. its at least a start.
retracted statement do to in-field testing .."obx = a pain in the cock"......
their rep aint too bad, but its a manifold, i heared about every kind cracking...including the so much loved FM products, the crack too, just take care of it...
