Oil in the compressor housing

Hey guys, I pulled off my intercooler piping tonight just to check out what's going on since it's been about a month since I installed the greddy kit I got.

As I pulled the afm off (don't worry MS just needs to be put in) I noticed I have quite a bit of oil coming out of the compressor. I'm currently running the lines and turbo from a greddy kit (everything else including mani is upgraded/gone). I'm going to start by replacing my pcv valve, adding a catch can instead of just having a filter, and getting a new drain line that taps the oil pan.

Do you think this will fix the problem?

If this doesn't work I'm going to end up just rebuilding it.

That will probably work. A friend's MSM had the same issue and a catch can fixed it.

Its definitely oil vapor, but you MAY need an oil pressure restricter. I was blowing oil in my car with a .060 restrictor that was too large. I now have a .035 and no more oil through the BOV.

Ok so I put in the catch can and I'm still getting lots of oil. As soon asy new drain line comes in I'll be replacing that too. Then the pcv.

Hustler any info on where I can get a smaller restrictor? And I was under the impression that the greddy line came with an ok sized restrictor but looking at they're kit I'll take it I was wrong.

If that doesn't work then I'm just putting a gt28 on it

A catch can won't really do anything if you're feeding too much oil into the turbo. It's only to stop it from going through the PCV...etc.

Well after a second look my pcv is nice and fucked, so I'll be changing that out tomorrow when the parts arrive.

It seems like the turbo is getting too much oil. I mean I'm talking a medium sized puddle every morning. If the drain and pcv don't work I'm just going to swap the turbo, and cut and weld my downpipe flange.
