oil drain

Turbo build is almost done but having some trouble finding 5/8" hose for oil drain. I already have a t25 oil drain that takes a 5/8 hose to the turbo and have a 5/8 hose barb fitting into the pan. Every single high temp hose I come across online says not to use for oil. I even contacted advanced auto to see if they would have something suitable but all they had were 250 degrees Fahrenheit rated transmission hose. Just looking for any solution here, I already bought all these fittings to just get the car running with the turbo and don't want to go to AN lines and fittings yet.

Just googled "5/8" turbo oil drail" and got lots of hits. You're not going to get much better than a thick silicone hose until you go AN.

You think 300 degrees Fahrenheit will be enough ?

No, you don't want Silicone for hot oil you want LOL Nitrile hose from Gates Rubber. Like this I'm guessing that is $8 / foot. Comes in multiple colors, the one I selected here is black. Blue is also common.

Better Price?

+1, oil degrades silicone. I've used the hose from ATP and it's pretty quality.

At one time I replaced the hose between the intake manifold and rocker cover with a Silicone hose and found that there was always a clear-oily condensation under the hose which I assume was oil blow-by seeping though the hose.

I wouldn't trust a silicone hose with hot oil running through it unless it was incredibly thick and would suspect that you'd still find similar clear-oil seeping through the hose..

Go to a local hydraulic hose shop. They have what you need because they do this every day.
