Just put the engine back in the car and threw the turbo and mani on to start deciding how i am going to do the charge pipes.

My question is:

How the hell do you guys with sr20 t25's run your intercooler pipes? i have it pointed down at an angle much like FM does and i have 2 major issues

1) it is really close to the lip on the frame (may need to trim)
2) it is pointing right at the radiator hose (1 piece hose)

HOW DO YOU GUYS FIT THIS STUFF???











I have a custom machined flange for the 3 bolt outlet that goes to 2" pipe (not pictured).

Any help/pics would be great!

You need to clock it so the outlet faces up not down.

i just ordered a 2" to 2.5" 90 degree reducer/bend. I think i am going to clock the turbo a little more, and then do a 90 towards the front of the car, then go down under the PS pump and out... or maybe ill point it up... i dont know.

We have a water pump inlet that points forward rather than aft. Opens it all up where nothing rubs nothing.

To eliminate the stock 3-piece lower radiator hose, go to a junkyard and find something that works. I think mine used to be the upper radiator hose out of a late 80's VW Fox.

Then get rid of you AC and PS. Make sure your intercooler reaches all the way to the end of the radiator, ditch the stupid black air-funneler thing the nose... and you can do your hot-side IC pipe with 1x90* coupler, 1x45* coupler, and 1x45* pipe bend. I have a couple threads with pics of my hotside and coldside... it's easy, you just have to be a man and get rid of all the sissy comfort **** down there.

i have no AC, i AM keeping power steering, and i already have the replacement 1 piece rad hose from FM i believe.

Uh, yeah actually. Cxracing has a great price of $22 for a set of 12 clamps, any size.

that is a good price. they are good quality too, ive never had a problem and they've been on the car for 2 years now.

I've never had a problem with my lo-fi hose clamps either and they've been on the car for 30,000 miles!

but that doesn't mean I dont want to spend 22 dollars so the kids at school wont tease me.
