I've got a Uego WB sensor and gauge. I've just added a link full ecu to my parts aquired for the build. Do I need a separate wb sensor for the ecu or can the gauge and ecu work off a single sensor? If it can run both what is needed to split the signal?

I dunno how your controller works, but my LC1 has two separate outputs. One is configured to output to an analouge AFR gauge, and the other tells my MS what is going on. One sensor. If you have only 1 output, you may be able to split that output in two, configure it for the gauge and then configure the Link to understand that same signal.

I'll take a closer look at the uego. Unfortunately all my parts are at work. I'll see if there is any info on their website.

It just hit me tonight that I might need an additional sensor for the link ecu. Figured I might get a quick answer here so I could sleep easy. Not money I wanted to spend.

the gauge doesn't need a feed, everything is outputed from it. So therefore you just need the blue output wire to feed the Link.

I think he has one of the box UEGOs, not the gauge type. Judging by his post anyways.

Sorry. It's the AEM Uego gauge type controller. Looking on the box this morning it says it has an adjustable 0-5v output for laptop mapping or most ecu's. Braineack, looks like you were right again. It outputs from the gauge. Yeah, I save money, yeah.

I'm finally ready to start building. Only 3 months later than I thought. My biggest concern is all these friggin wires. The gauges, ecu and sensors. Getting wires run cleanly in and out of the engine compartment, to the dash and ecu! Holy hell this is not my favorite part. Wrenching is a piece of cake compared to all the wiring.

Same thing on my house. I'll install doors, windows, finish trim, tile, cabinets, concrete work, etc., but I won't touch the wiring. Always manage to screw it up somehow.

I feel ya. Zip-ties and split corrugated plastic wire loom are good friends to help tidy up wiring.

AEM is ******* simple i was real pissed after i saw 2scoops's AEM stuff and how easy it was to install. The only + there was my MS was pnp, and it all cost about 1/3 of his setup. :gay:
