Oiling issues gt2560r

So I purchased a 2560r which had previously been rebuilt by JDS performance and upgraded to their billet wheel, bought it frshly rebuilt (had sat in shipping packaging for a while but never assembled. Anyway, I put it on my car to replace the begi t25/28 hybrid, with a .035" restrictor from ATP, to attach my -3an line off an oil filter sandwich. The car started up, but it was smoking. I figured I would let it heat cycle a little so I drove for just a few minutes, made everything was up to temp, turned the car off and came back the next day, smoke was still pretty gnarly. I decided to separate the top and bottom parts of my fm downpipe and saw a decent amount of oil so I pulled the turbo off to inspect. Well these photos are what I have found. I sent the turbo back out to JDS and Josh inspected it and said everything is good but it looks like the comp wheel was contacting the inside of my housing slightly and that he suspects their is too much pressure being ran through the turbo, I guess it looked like the housing wasn't fully seated to the CHRA, anyway that shouldn't be causing the oiling issue on the exhaust side. So, I am wondering what your guys extreme intelligence would suspect might be my issue. The drain is a 5/8" hose, no kinks, not 100% straight down but no extreme bends, it is always sloped down at a decently good angle, so I do not suspect that is the issue. But on the other hand, this is a restrictor sold and recommended for this turbo from ATP so that kind of puts me in a stopping point. Would switching the line size to -4an with the same size restrictor help lower pressure? Any advice is great, I'm definitely still learning.

I thought GT2560R were all ball bearing and since they were all ball bearing they could only be rebuilt by Garrett and also had to be balanced by them so no wheel changes could be done in the field. I also thought you were supposed to run a .028 or smaller restrictor.

I think if it is not ball bearing it is not an R.

But I'm not a real doctor.

It is ball bearing. JDS I believe can rebuild them. They advertise it and this turbo supposedly has been rebuilt by them. This is the same wheel change Greg peters did on his 2554r just the wheel for a 60. They also balance them. Either way, I will look into a smaller restrictor. Just sort of worried about underfeeding it and overheating the balls. Thanks!
