Default Smoking turbo at rear seal

After taking advice from this forum re my smoking turbo, I have added a 0.065" restrictor. I still get smoking (albeit not as much) between the turbine and centre housing. I get not leakage from the compressor seal.
The turbo is a Garrett T25 from a Saab 9000. Its a DIY turbo build with Begi FMU. I have the right hand crank vent hose into the intake pipe before the turbo. The drain hose goes straight down into the sump. Im sure the rear seal is fine as its the piston type.

Can anyone think of something I have overlooked? Im thinking if there is something causing the oil not to drain properly and backlogging in the turbo. I dont really understand the PCV system, could it be that? May I have a faulty PVC?
Thanks
Andy

Give it a little time, my old VW did this and it took a couple days of 40-mph commuting for the seal to "act right" again.

I have my valve cover vent on the exhaust side just venting to atmosphere. Try that instead of having it hooked up to the intake pipe of the turbo.
