When I bought my 2-piece Tony downpipe, I had the upper section ceramic coated in silver by a local shop, and to save money I painted the lower section with the Duplicolor
DH 1606 "High Heat w/ Ceramic" exhaust paint. And yes, I baked it as per the instructions.

The upper section (which is ceramic coated) has held up very nicely. There's a slight chalky discoloration, but no flaking, peeling, cracking, or otherwise. The lower section however looks terrible. The paint started to flake and peel off within a month. Totally worthless for anything in the "hot" area of the exhaust- particularly the manifold and downpipe.

Used the VHT 2000 deg flamecoat 2 years ago....still looks new. The paint on the dp did chip off, so the dp would be worth getting ceramic coated. The hotside of the turbo is still looking new though. I may try this stuff next on the hotside of the turbo to reduce the heat
