Default ARP head stud install issue ?

Putting engine together. Installed arp studs and torqued head to 65lbs. During torquing i felt my wrench slip a few times as the washer rotated.

Arps included instuctions say to lube the washer/threads/nut with arp lube before torquing

Im seeing threads online (none miata related) that say arp lube shouldnt be used on the clyinder side head of the washer ?

Should i pull them off one at a time and clean lube off washer and retorque ? Or is the washer slipping normal ?

Washer slipping is normal. Just torque to 60ft/lbs and you’re good. I always lube both sides of the washer too.

I went arps instructions and went 65ftlbs. I rechecked torque after last pass of 65 and none of them moved
