Pretty sure there's not meant to be a hole here...
10,000 miles at 270whp resulted in this happening last night. The funny thing is that I wasn't even boosting at the time. I posted this on another forum and another user had the exact same thing happen on cylinder #4. I wonder if it could have been prevented with a dual feed fuel rail?

There was a guy I read about on here who mocked up a test rig for a duel-feed rail. The result was...... well, what 18psi said.

The difficult decision is whether to run the new engine at a lower power level, or the same amount of boost like a boss. lol.
I think a built engine is due. I'll probably do this as a winter time project.

According to the pics it looks like your stock ring lands are intact. I would throw a set of 300$ rods in there with stock pistons and it should be able to hold well over 300whp, just make sure you keep your tune on the safe side. If this is a 1.6 you could run the NPR replacement auto pistons which i believe are 9:1 compression instead of 9.5. Or the 323gtx pistons which are 7.8:1, those will defiantly hold up to some abuse.
