Default Oil feed hose patch

So I was a dummy and took off on a long road trip with a damaged turbo oil feed hose for the Greddy kit. You know, the one that's impossible to find. I thought it was only cosmetic, but it leaked. Not enough to starve the turbo but oil was everywhere and burning on the block.

I patched it with gasket sealant and clamped it, but when I passed an idiot that sped up in North Carolina, it started leaking again. I nursed the car for 3000 miles of the trip then in Oklahoma (I live in SF, CA), I re-patched it by layering gasket sealant (silicone with copper) then clamping over it with duct sealer tape (metal) with three clamps.

I eventually realized that this patch was holding and was able to cruise at 75 instead of 65 and actually pass with moderate power. I'm of course replacing the hose ASAP, but just in case you have a similar problem, this is a temp fix.

My leak was a pinhole, so don't expect positive results with something large.

Cheers, Jon
