Question about the intake of air. Major noob.
Hi, recently started to put together a DIY turbo kit.
Long story short, what do I do about the airflow meter, or whatever that thing is, that is in the stock airbox when I put my turbo on? If it's disconnected the car doesn't run. Do I have to relocate it, or is there something to eliminate it? |

Depending on where you ultimately want to go, You could relocate it. Or yo could invest in a megasquirt engine management system and get rid of the entire afm altogether. Obviously, since MS is an engine management system, its a bit pricey. Otherwise though, you would have to stick with the AFM on your car.

You should still read up a lot on how megasquirt runs, dont just throw the AFM in the trash. Also, make sure that you get the proper setup, as well as the correct sensors to be able to run without the AFM.
